Retired Deacon Earl Smith who served St. Edward's Parish for many years was called to the Father, Monday Sept.10, 2007. May He through the Mercy of God Rest in Peace.
Please Pray for Mary Smith His wife and all the Family at this moment of need.
Monday Sept. 17, 2007 anyone who wishes to pay their respect is welcome at March Funeral Home West 4300 Wabash Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215. Viewing is all day up to 7:00 P.M
Funeral will be Tuesday Sept. 18,2007 At St. Edward's Parish, 901 Poplar Grove St. Baltimore, MD 21216. As soon as the Body arrives at the Parish all are invited to pay their respects and Prayers. Wake will be at 10:00 A.M followed by Mass of the Resurection at 10:30 A.M. After Mass we are invited for a repast in the Parish Hall on W. Lafayette Avenue.
We thank God for all the services Deacon Smith offered to the Community at St. Edward's for 22 years. May the Family be consoled by the wonderful fruits of His good works and so be assured that He is resting in a Better Place.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:- THEME:- "All thy children shall be taught by the Lord". Isaiah 54:13
- Please take time today to register your Child. All Registration will end Sunday, Sept.30th 2007, and a donation of $10.00. Our program consists of a)Church for God's little people (2-5 year olds) b) Sacramental Preparation (grades 2 - 4) c)Sunday School (1st to 8th graders), Orita crossroads (9th to 12th grade) and students MUST enrolled in our Program.
- All classes will begin Sunday, October 21st 8:45 to 9:45 A.M. Church for God's little people will meet in the rectory and other Classes will meet in the Church Hall.

Today is Catechetical Sunday. Please Pray for our Religious Education Teachers. Pray also that our Homes become true Catechetical Centers.

The cost of the Missal is only $5.00 each. Some will be available in the rear of the Church to take your request or you may take a labeled envelop, fill in the requested information and place it in the offertory basket. In order to make publicatioons available to you in a timely manner we ask that all request and payments be made by Sunday Oct. 21,2007.
