This vision of the Messiah describes his work, not only in restoring Health and welbeing to the infirm, but also in bringing the mercy and forgiveness of Salvation.

Look to the example of prophets and learn Patience under severe hardships.

Jesus applies the words of Isaiah to himself. He proclaims the good news of Salvation, Freedom and Joy.

If Jesus' name was on your shoppin g list, what gift would you give him? See table in the rear of the Church for slips and box. Special Blessing will be given on Christmas Eve and the gifts will be placed in the Crib.

Notice also that the Advent Coin Folders and Reading materials are available in the rear of the Church. Please pick one for yourself and maybe another for a friend or another member of your Family who could not come.

  • Sunday, January 6th, Arts and Crafts for all  Classes in the Hall at 8:45 a.m

           1) All Classes will be in Session

           2)  Parents of Children preparing for first Holy Communion will meet in the Hall at 8:45 a.m

Orita Class Christmas Project:-

The Orita Class will send Christmas cards to the sick and shut - ins of the Parish. if you would like a card sent or you know of someone who would enjoy receiving a card, please provide the names and addresses of the parishioners to Michele Hunt (410-945-1264) or one of the Orita students no later than December 17th, 2007. There are sheets of paper in the rear of the Church to collect the names and addresses. Please print neatly so we will be able to address the envelopes correctly.

Project Rachel:-

You may know of a person looking for healing after an abortion or they are suffering from past abortion trauma. Please refer them to PROJECT RACHEL. There will be a retreat for spiritual and Emotional healing after Abortion which will be held in Baltimore January 27 -28, 2008. This is an opportunity to accept the gentle healing touch of Jesus. "Journey Through Cancer: Art of healing and Hope"

In Celebration of the official spring 2008 opening of the Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center, Cancer patients, survivors and Caregivers of all ages are invited to submit original Art works about their journeys through the cancer experience for a juried art exhibit entitled "Journeys through Cancer: Art of Healing and Hope." The exhibit will give an important voice to artists in the community who have experienced cancer. Entries must be postmarked by Feb. 8th 2008. For Adults there is an entry fee of $25 But for Youths 17 and under, entree is free.
