The Israelites murmured against God in their thirst. God directs Moses to strike a rock with is staff, and water issues forth.
Responsorial Psalm 95 [The Lord Our Rock]
If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts .
Romans 5:1-2, 5-8 [ God's Love for Us]
Through Jesus we have received the grace of faith. The love of God has been poured upon us. Jesus laid down his life for us while we were still sinners.
ACCLAMATION:- Gory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
Lord, you are truly the Savior of the World; give me living water, that I may never thirst again.
John : 4:5-42 [Samaritan Woman]
Jesus speaks to the Samaritan woman at the well. He searches her soul, and she recognizes him as a prophet. Jesus speaks of the water of eternal life. He also notes the fields are ready for harvest.
