   PRAY FOR A GREATER FAITH AND LOVE

1 Samuel 16:1b, 6-7,10-13a           [The Lord's Anointed]

 God directs Samuel to anoint David King. God looks into the heart of each person.

Responsorial Psalm  23    [The Lord's Protection ]

The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want .

  Ephesians 5:8 - 14          [ Children of Light]

We are to walk in the light which shows goodness, justice and truth. Christ gives this light whereby we live.

ACCLAMATION:- Glory to you, word of God, Lord Jesus Christ. 

I am the light of the world, says the Lord; whoever follows me will have the light of life. Glory to you, word of God, Lord Jesu Christ.

John : 9:1-41      [Cure of the Blind Man]               

Jesus is the light. He cures a man born blind by bringing him to see. Jesus identifies himself as the Son of Man.

The Parish Pastoral council is looking for church Members to become a part of the Planing team for our 2008 Homecoming celebrations.This year St. Edward's will be celebrating  128 years . Please sign up to be a part of this committee so that the Homecoming Activities can be initiated early this year.

  • Saturday March 8th from 3:00 to 3:45 P.M - Reconciliation
  • Saturday March 15, 2008: No  4.00 P.M Mass
  • Palm Sunday, March 20th, 2008, Mass at 6:00 P.M Followed by Seder Meal and Youth Play.
  • Good Friday, March 21, 2008 :- Passion of the Lord Liturgy starts at 3:00 P.M
  • Holy Saturday March 22nd, 2008 No 4:00 P.M Mass. Easter Vigil Mass starts at 8:00 P.M.
  • Easter Sunday, March 23rd - No 8:00 A.M Mass. We will have Mass at 10:00 A.M Only.
