WEB: VOL 27

 FIFTH  SUNDAY OF LENT
MARCH 09, 2008

PRAY  FOR COURAGE TO FOLLOW CHRIST

Ezekiel  37:12-14           [The Lord's Promise]

The Lord promises to bring his people back to their homeland. He will be with them and they will know him.

Responsorial Psalm  130    [Mercy and Redemption ]

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption .

  Romans 8:8 - 11          [ Indwelling of Christ's Spirit]

The followers of Jesus live in the Spirit of God. The same Spirit who brought Jesus back to life will bring mortal bodies to life since God's Spirit dwells in them.

ACCLAMATION:- Praise and honor to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord;  whoever believes in me will never die. Praise and honor to you,  Lord Jesu Christ.

John  11:1-45      [Lazarus]

Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary, died and was burried. When Jesus came, he assured them that he was the resurrection and the life. Jesus gave life back to lazarus.
