AUGUST 31, 2008

 Jeremiah 20:7 - 9               [Power of God's Word]

Jeremiah admits that he has become a Mockery for the Lord. He is derided and reproached, but he cannot help speaking out the word of the Lord.

Responsorial  Psalm 63            [Longing for God ]
My Soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God.

Romans 12: 1 - 2     [A living Sacrifice]

Paul recommends sacrifice, to offer our bodies as a sacrifice to the Lord. We must ignore the standards of the world and become renewed in spirit to be pleasing to God.

Alleluia Alleluia, May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of Our Hearts that we may know what is the Hope that belongs to our Call. Alleluia Alleluia.
