25th sundy in ordinary time
September 23, 2007

Amos   8:4 - 7               [The Just are Persecuted]

The Lord will punish those who cheat and oppress the poor. There is no place for the gouger, the con-artist, the greedy.

Responsorial Psalm 113              [Praise the Lord]
Praise the Lord who lifts up the Poor.

1 Timothy 2:1- 8     [Christ our Mediator]

We should pray with a pure heart and blameless hands. Our penitential act in the liturgy must be sincere if our prayers are to meet this demand.

 Luke 16:1 - 13         [The Wily Manager]
TIf we are shrewd in an evil way, we may be admired by other evil people for our cleverness. But we cannot wil in the long run. We cannot divide ourselves between God and Worldly gain.
